Description
Red light has been shown to enhance cellular function. It is understood that the targeted wavelength of the red light spectrum, 630-660 nm can penetrate the skin 8-10 mm. The red light stimulates the production of energy, namely by enhancing mitochondrial absorption, increasing mitochondrial catalase activity, enhancing cell metabolism, increasing glycogen content and protein synthesis, and ATP breakdown, which in turn promotes cell synthesis.
